What is the most important aspect of your culture?
Wendy Lupas, Co-Founder and President, Gracewear Collection
We are new DSA members and I am truly in awe of the many amazing women that I meet, but particularly Cindy Monroe of Thirty-One Gifts. Cindy absolutely illuminates with a light from within. She has such a calm, casual, easy-going demeanor that makes you immediately feel like you have known her for years. Her passionate involvement as an advocate for DSA and our industry is very encouraging. It is obvious that Cindy leads Thirty-One with a culture that makes her team want to be successful and make a difference helping others. I hope to lead our company with the same enthusiasm, authentic truth and passion.
Alicia Storbeck, Founder, Initial Outfitters
One company that I consider a role model is Chick-Fil-A. Their base of raving fans, while certainly attributable to their quality product, is driven more by their culture, service, philanthropic efforts, generosity, community involvement, and for living their faith. To be known for these things means far more to me than being known for products or programs, and it has turned generations of people into loyal followers.
